FLOWERS OF THE NIGHT
I paced the night and in my heart
A woman's unique melody - my lips wet
The hands of darkness on my wrists - the veil of silence I wore
She with birds dripped from her eyes
The sky vomited a flower and kissed the dregs of wine
And woman's grief was as vast as kites
As sorrowful as the smoke of a pipe
She was in my blood
