Flowers By Her Graveside

Flowers by her graveside because she wasn’t strong enough to stay and fight She was always either fight or flight but when the fighting became too much and the madness added up in her head it all started to combust Maybe she needed someone to be a friend instead all she got were dead ends Suicide on her mind will this ever end Demons screaming let me in And she finally let them win The devastating part is she left behind her legacy Two kids that didn’t know what had happened Maybe she was selfish for ending her life but nobody ever asked if she was alright So when she took her life everyone wondered why because to them she looked just fine Now only she could say what she was going through But nobody ever let her get the chance to tell her side Now all everyone is saying she was a selfish ass mother that ended her life that she could’ve stayed and fought But what they don’t know was the fight was her cage The voices in her head were her chains She was literally locked and stuck inside her brain and it made her feel insane When she ended it all went away Everyone’s sitting there at her graveside now putting flowers on her coffin Saying You’ll be missed and I’m so sorry But if they really cared they would’ve seen that she struggled before it got so bad they would’ve reached out She was verbally abused almost every single day but she carried all of it deep down inside Nobody got to see the tears she cried She was already dead Flowers by her graveside because she was no longer strong enough to stay a fight
