Flowers beneath my feet

You walk on the shallow path of my heart 
treading lightly not to cause chaos 
really you are in my head 
starting a riot of love and hate 
I run to my magical place 
where butterflies and fireflies light my way 
leading me in the right direction 
as flowers fall from trees 
landing uniquely around my feet 
calm and reflecting
