Flowers beneath my feet

I am thinking of you today
as I look out the window
and spingtime is upon us
when I walk outside, there
are flowers beneath my feet
puffy white clouds overhead
and freshness in the air
My love for you fills my heart
because I know that these are
the things you love
Even in your absence,
I love you and being surrounded
by the things you love,
gives me hope and peace
