Flowers and Weeds

Flowers and Weeds.
Both come from seeds,
Weeds and seeds flower
I have always had a need,
To question,
Why does the flower have more power?
Weeds can be pretty,
Too pretty to destroy,
I don' think its petty,
Its something that would annoy,
Me if I were a weed,
Indeed,
It would.
Has Mother Nature goofed it up,
One kind of a weed is a buttercup.
Flowers and weeds have all got names,
Does this not make them the same?
I hope Mother Nature doesn't have a pecking order,
Sadly my feelings would change toward her.

Take around a nice bunch of flowering weeds to a friend and see what they say…..hehe….that would be funny!! Doesn’t last but a day except in my memory. At the start of the pandemic, I would have my grandsons over and we would take a walk. We couldn’t go to the playground but we could get fresh air. Every Spring I have a pretty blue flowering vine that entwines around a rock wall in my garden, it is a weed but I water it and it gives me great pleasure. I hope you are enjoying your day.
