Flowers and Other Things

I 
like to 
wear flowers 
in my long tress 
each and every spring 
the robins like 
to nest there 
in my 
hair 

I
always 
leave a crumb 
for them to find 
inside my long braid  
the robins love 
to  peck at   
my plait 
tap 

I 
don't mind 
their flutter 
nor happy trill 
lost in their concert 
I just stand still 
as they play  
with my 
hair
