Flower Or Weed

I am the yellow blossom, the first sign of spring
I am food for insects, full of minerals and vitamin C
My petals dry out revealing my many seeds
You shout out it must be a weed!

You blow the seeds across the field,
And with just a gust of wind
The partnership is sealed
You made a miracle begin

My life isn't over its only just begun
Next I'll sprout and grow my leaves
So I can capture the energy from the sun
Once the seeds settle and take root
Not even winter can influence the absolute
After the snow melts and the rain begins to fall
I return with the spring
You shout It's a Flower after all!

For I am not a weed so let me stand tall
I am a dandelion
The strongest perennial of them all

Ah, I figured it out right away, and what a lovely lovely tribute you have given to my favorite flower. My bunnies and bees love them, and so do I!
