Flower

A poem as lovely as a Flower
I’m spellbound by your delicate power 

I grow with you, no matter the season
You have come into my life with reason

And from a bud you bloom and up you show
Happiness is all I seek as you grow

With a gentle breeze you share your fragrance
Your essence always gives me assurance

And like my heart you too are so fragile
Come smile with me and comfort me awhile

Your colors always seem to lift my mood
For centuries we share an interlude!
