Florida Sunrise
Sunrise breathes heavy colors of
Impending wonder
Life springs into quick action
Turtles move gently toward water
Eggs hatch before heat of day
Yearlings stand on trembling legs
Sunrise breathes life into the
Natural world
But oh the pondering sunset
Who lulls all nature
with lullaby so sweet
Translucent flames descending
Into serene sea of sleep.
