Flip

FLIP
...by Ron Wilson aka Vee Bdosa

My blade is death, my cut is sharp and clean.
Deep in your past, or recent in your day,
I claim it all, my name is Guillotine,
I am your only hope, your only way.

My path leads higher than you'll ever know,
I care not in my quest for right or wrong,
nor if you lie, so long as where we go,
is where I want to be, where I belong.

Your flip will ease your pain; my word's my seal;
though you betray a friend, I promise not,
to be a blessing, from our public deal,
and some will think you Brutus--public rot.

My name is Guillotine, your hope is none.
There's no place you may hide, no where to run.
