Flight of Ego's
The Ego like the birds of prey,
hover with a majestic flair
on light invisible walls of air
with hollow bones they spread their wings
uncurl their long curved talons,
waiting on their throne like kings
with telescopic sight engaged,
they swoop the supersonic speed
attack, destroy, devour the enemy
Peacocks with plume unfurled,
dance in intricate delight
flashing colors to and fro,
a phantasmagorical sight
Mourning doves with plaintive call,
descend from peaks where others perch
drifting smoothly in an earth bound fall,
they choose to walk among us all
Vultures in their truculent gaze,
fix upon the weaker prey
circling in sardonic flight,
soaring to conceited height
Even during pompous pursuit,
they're prone to others from below
arrows can pierced their enormous pride,
bright them down from a clear blue sky
Observe the flight of every ego,
their spinning, weaving turns
just like rapacious birds of prey,
we all have so much to learn.
