Flickering

Walking away fast,
I look away from your eyes;
That’s all I can do;

Breath that keeps catching
soul stained cheeks turning crimson,
you don’t need to see;

Leaving innocence;
Pure, I take all of the scars
branding them with smiles;

A fresh coat of paint
you can swallow easily;
Everything’s ok;

Lights in my eyes flickering,
breathing in the atmosphere.
