Notes About The Poem

Flick It Away

Thoughts that arise, oft hold us in surprise
Seeming to be of foreign origin
Flicked away before ego does apprise

If we meddle not, all thoughts are virgin
We look and release, flowing like the breeze
Resting narrow thought construct perception

Dweller of the void, living life in ease
Unaffected by the world external
Blissful presence, with nothing to appease

Choosing thus, the throb of bliss eternal
Be to become, a living miracle

Very insightful and interesting piece of work, U.S. I enjoyed reading it. I suspect we too often "meddle" with our thoughts and sully their original meanings. I wanted more!
