Fleeting Rainstorm

Stormy winds swing canopies of trees Swaying dark shadows upon my reverie Glimmering through forest-green leaves Sunlight filtered by cumulous clouds As raindrops pitter-patter on sidewalk Drenching instincts ambling in the park. Sun-rays soon flicker, as rain-clouds part Spreading golden dust on cobalt-blue sky Intermittently oscillating light and dark Floating breezy patterns on emerald grass. The multi-hued sky then picks up my vibes As charming horizon evokes your smile. The voice I hear, speaks to me so softly First time ever, it greets me with a kiss Holding my posture, I sprint for a glimpse. But there's no one, for no one there was Except the chatter of agitated bird calls Warning of danger from a lone stranger Conjuring daydreams in fleeting rainstorm. Much belated congratulations on your win in the contest Vijay, Much deserved with this awesome write. Hi Vijay, I so easily found myself at the heart of your images, I could so easily feel the angel's tears upon my skin, looking up at a lively, cloudy sky. As the storm broke it was so easy to see the sky clear. Wonderful content on another excellent write my friend. May your pen ever run gold. A fave. Have a wonderful Saturday. Your friend always....Mike.

What a wonderful tribute to a fleeting rainstorm - the kind I most enjoy when I'm safely tucked in bed listening to rain falling on the roof top as I blissfully drift off to sleep! Lovely imagery and lyrical lines that are so enjoyable to read! Congratulations on your win! Well-deserved! Hugs. Pandita
