Fleeting Petals of Eternity

Fleeting Petals of Eternity. Please don’t confuse our precious moments, With faithful hopes of Eternity, For I am just like the petals of a flower, That bloom and cry out with vivid colours, and then gently one by one, Let go, and slowly drift with the wind, Drifting joyfully, Until I can be found no more. For we touch, In vivid dreams, that flower at night, and as Earths Golden Healing Light, Streams in, Through cracks in shabby curtains, We dance, Bare feet touching autumn leaves, And swaying trees, Wave in a million autumn colours, For as summer slips with dignity, Gently away, Life slowly drifts, into a deep night of sleep, With dreams of dazzling sunlight, Flickering across wide open, Summer plains, With Quite whispering songs, Telling of stories, Of when spring will come again.
