Flattering Words
Using deceit to broker, in order to take control
Flattering words to rapt the mind and gain a better hold
A greedy heart seeks to release the buyer from his thoughtful view
Immerse itself in a delightful smile to help the plan push through
Flattering words beg to educate and lift the spirits high
A wink, a nod, a gentle hand and the ego is sure to fly
All in effort to gain an edge, before the deal is done
Pretty words, kindly spoken and the prize is practically won
Flattering words can build an empire and enhance the seller’s fame
A weapon to rule the buyer and present a worthless clam
And when the victim turns his back after giving his hand in trust
Flattering words takes a bow then presents the seller’s lust
