What would be the meaning to the answer of that existential question? Prodding the souls beyond the eyes.

Johanna Ey played an important role in these artists lives. She was an awesome friend with a gifted eye for the beauty of the artists that gathered regularly in this bakery. She was a good woman to take paintings in exchange for food as we all know how many "starving artists" there are out there. Great writing as always Brian... very informative. Smiles from Lolita

LOL I couldn't help myself from laughing on this one. When I visited the image and saw how robust Johanna, the art dealer was and noticed how much the drape in the painting looks like giant twisted bread, I found myself amused at how your mind brings these things to light. Thank you for the enjoyment. Always, Dane
