Flat Pack Fiasco

Long bits, straight bits and bent bits
Push fits, screw fits and glue fits
A little bag that’s full of very small bits
But where’s the hexagon key

Well the left bit’s connected to the… back bit
And the back bit’s connected to the… right bit
And it all fits together on the… base bit
Then you turn the whole thing over for the… top bit

The bit that goes inside looks like it… might fit
So stick it in and hope that it’s a… tight fit
Then these four little round bits, each a… floor bit
Must be said at best they are a… poor fit

This bit must go somewhere but it… won’t fit
And this bit is apparently the… door bit
There’s a bag of little bits they call a… screw kit
The leaflet says there’s sixteen screws that… you fit

No wonder nothing seemed to be a… good fit
Now I’m feeling stupid and a… right nit
So I took it all apart and grabbed a… screw bit
Screwing screw bits where I need a… screw fit

Long bits, straight bits and bent bits

Oops, I see the top bit isn’t… well fit
I think I’ve used the top bit as the… shelf bit
Now I think I’ve gone and lost a… floor bit
And the hinge bits will not fit into the… door bit

Now I’ve got to fit the little… latch bit
But it seems it hasn’t got the… catch bit
I’m at the point at which I wanna… burn it
So I’ll take it all apart and then… RE-TURN IT!!

Downside… you only get 6 credits per day in the free package, which equates to two generations per day, whereas with Suno you get 50 credits which equates to 5 generations per day. Upside… if you subscribe, AImusicgen.ai grants full commercial rights to all your songs including your ‘back catalogue’. Suno retains rights to your back catalogue although, of course, your lyrics remain your own. Suno is cheaper. Did a Christmas song only yesterday…. Terry Flood September 17, 2025 at 2:57 PM Thanks, Ilene, a rewrite of a fairly recent poem, put to er… music? I sat down to try to get AI to set it to the tune of ‘Dem Bones’ but had a sudden flash of inspiration…… make it madcap. I literally told it to do manic, lunatic, crazy everything and pretty well got my wish first time. Should have pointed out that the image was also AI generated but whenever I try to include text with an image, everything to goes haywire. Glad you enjoyed ;)

I’m sure you realise the music is AI generated (as is the image) but the lyrics are adapted from one of my fairly recent poems… I kinda feel the bonkers melee in the tune illustrates the workings of one’s mind when faced with indecipherable instructions and a thousand assorted components.
