Flaming Curtain Call
In fiery
chaos
flames flick
toward
things
the
heat in
my heart
harkens
memories
to bring.
Winter white
jacket
my
son
loved
so much
it's been
eight years
since it felt
his touch.
My moms garnet
she wore
on her hand
an empty
circle
now silent
gold
band.
My favorite
stuffed bear
with the
hole in
his
gut
and nose
chewed off
by my
childhood mutt.
The certificate
to prove
I entered
this life
yet amiss
and
burned
is the suffer
and strife.
Oversized
wretched purse
that
collects
the stuff
my shoulder
cries out
enough
enough!
The journal
to witness
Gods
goodness
to me
an heirloom
the promise
my family
tree.
Eyeglasses
behold
the beckoning
blaze
bow
with the
curtain
continue
lifes'
maze.
