Flames

Lighting up the night
       passion like
  a river
of boiling water
   runs through the blood
of
the
two
lovers
       darkness envelops
them
       hearts, like drums
beat
     in
       rhythm
Two individuals
touching gently
            find solace
an escape
from the urban
              atmosphere
No crowds here
    Just two lovers
embracing
           Their eyes shine
as overhead
    the man in the moon
smiles
      Another night of joy
As he watches
          from above
He sees what really matters

What really matters is so well said here. What a beautiful write. Thanks Matthew, doubly, for your comment. Doubly? I am so out of it, but you know what I mean. This is a nasty bug and I hate it :(. Just had to stop by to say thanks. Hugs, Shar xoxo

Love the romantic images of two lovers embracing while the man in the moon watches. Very passionate, Matthew! Love, Carolyn
