Flame of Awareness
Our earth life vessel
assumes an identity
for our brief sojourn,
helping us to navigate
treacherous terrain,
choppy seas on moonless nights,
for which we’re thankful,
whilst at all times self-aware,
of the light of Self,
which we were, are and will be,
for all time to come,
so merely as a witness,
we embrace and release love.
