Flame Lightning Midnight Sky
Flame, lightning, midnight sky
science seeks to tell you why
crystals break the light of day
refracting prisms show the way
ears grown on the backs of mice
growing quicker faster rice
science helps to path the way
a better life to build some day
knowledge lost we wish to know
how did the time before us grow
subtle sky's of midnight fire
open up your hearts desire
maths the doorway of our dreams
building new and better schemes
seeking how our life began
science is our bitter friend
from bombs that blow our planet wide
science hides from you no lies
how we use the things we know
can destroy a million lives
from knowledge grown, to space ship flight
science helps bring knowledge light
science opens doors unknown
growing dreams before unsown
