Five-Minute Happinesses

My parents just fought again,
Guess what? We're the ones that end up with all their pain.

Get a divorce already, we hate unhappy.

We're the ones that end up troubled,
Five-minute happinesses, always end.

We're the ones that end up awful,
Five-minute happinesses, the only happiness we get.

The imagery though filled with despair is held out for our scrutiny and we are forced to witness our own "Five-minute happinesses" in life. Emile #7
