Five O Clock Shadow

I feel like a dusty blade
with nothing to cut
You said I didn't have the guts
to fill the neon skies
A cheerless languid
five o clock shadow
You stole my castle
and that I hadn't the paint
A cheerless restlessness
with words I tossed
were like the envelopes of yesterday
