Five More Minutes Pleeeeeeeeease
A bath today?
Is it my turn already?
Don’t we need to conserve water?
I know my toes are crusty but my hands are worse.
My nails are a mess, but I think they could go another day.
A bath makes me mad.
Saturday? You are kidding me. I thought it was Friday for sure.
I will relent but only if I have all my bath toys and my bath crayons.
And lots of bubbles. Make them go up to my chin.
Give me that bottle. I want to dump it all in.
Splash. Splash. Squeal. Laugh. Splash.
NO! I want another ten minutes.
Splash. Splash. Squeal. Laugh. Splash.
Five more minutes! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!”
Splash. Splash. Squeal. Laugh. Splash.
Why I fight to have one of these
is crazy even to me.
