Five Little Words
Five little words, “I'll love you to infinity”
Okay, please don't write me letters
I realize it's five little words but who cares
Five words are probably better
To prove the depth of my deep devotion
I use all the tricks in the book
Must be showing on my weathered old mug
With this sappy dreamy eyed look
Can't help it, I look and feel like a clown
No control, you're totally to blame
Have you no pity, you've set me on fire
And constantly fanning my flame
Guess you could call it a poem about love
Some poets are famous for this
Really not asking for no fame or fortune
Just a tender sweet hug and a kiss
Okay THREE little words then, “I love you”
Really has quite the same meaning
Thinking of yelling it from every rooftop
But I might get arrested for screaming!
