Five months and five minutes slip by
In the long luscious blink of an eye,
In the ghost of a meaningful sigh,
Five months and five minutes slip by.
Five seconds of fragments in space
Frozen and melting in place,
The timeless compose of your face,
Five seconds of fragments in space.
Five senses in darkness and light,
Taste, touch, smell, hearing and sight,
In morning and evening and night,
Five seconds in darkness and light.
Five reasons bestowed to you blind,
I love you times five thus defined:
Heart, body, soul, being and mind,
Five reasons bestowed to you blind.
