Fishing In the Snow

Why I wait for them I'll never know,
but in this boat I shall row,
waiting in the ice and snow,
what more must I do but wait,
and cast out the bait,
hoping to catch a fish and its mate.

But still I'll never know,
why I wait for fish in snow,
and now I know why I can't row,
the fish can wait,
so I'll pull up the bait,
and go back home to my mate.
