Fishing For Love
A disregarded heart
tossed to the shorelines
Sucked in by the magnetism
of a drifting dream.
To only be caught up
in a web of self pity.
Being pulled down
by the undertow
of dishonest sacrifice of truth.
A down draft
to a bottomless pit of lies
Intercepted by the current
of hopes and self renewal
Revived by a new love.
