Fishing

Sitting on the creek bank pole in hand, trout line floating nearby Listening to the wind in the trees, crickets chirping away Birds in flight, birds on a limb singing sweet melodies to me Cast my line, curplunk, splash, little ripples subside Laying back watching the clouds go by, daydreaming Nibble, nibble, nibble, reel in real slow, dang he got away Rebait, recast, splash, hope i get a big one for dinner Oh got me one, two, three, on my what a sight to see Reeling in my line, that beautiful trout dangling there Grab my net, toss him back just not big enough to keep Pull in my trout line to find 6 big enough for dinner. To home I go, clean and cook my catch, what a day it was
