First-Born Daughter

When you were born
I became a father
and in my heart I discovered
a new type of love
which made me both tender and strong
and through the years
it has motivated and inspired me
to care as much as I could.
And though my family and world
has expanded, I just want to say this:
There is nothing in this world that can replace
the joy I felt when you first looked at my face.

True feelings of a loving father. I can see it there. No many can show it.
