First Time Saw My Baby's Face
FIRST TIME EVER, I SAW SON’S FACE
From very moment he was born
into world, with piercing cry came.
Don’t ask how when I heard him
knew life would never…be the same.
This verified by the head nurse,
“noise in nursery, is your son’s fault.”
he’s got all the babies crying
and nurses, turning…tumble salts.
I’ll admit, joined them crying too,
cry signaled, start of his new life.
Realize the second, he was born
changed me to MOM…not just a wife.
Intense sense of joy just knowing
he’d changed my world, to better place.
Moment I gazed into his bright eyes
and saw his smiling… dimpled face.,
I thanked God, he answered my prayers
through years, I’d feel deep sense of pride
As in my heart I visualized
My life with My son…by my side.
