my first seduction was with a bowl of stale feta, a tragic affair with a refrigerator that wouldn't shut. crumbs scattered like apology, i whispered sweet nothings, "eat me, make me whole” the hinge creaked, and i poured out, wanderlust in the cheap cheese, another unloved abandon, me.

Well, your first mistake was choosing feta to begin with. Next time go for something a bit more robust, say, a sharp cheddar or an aged muenster. 'ello
