First Time Here

How did the child feel
He was looking pale and ill
Cuddling his tattered teddy
Not quite sure if he was ready
To leave his familiar comfort zone
To start this venture all alone
His Mother standing anxiously by
With a teardrop in her eye
He was her only son
And was still a little one
She must not be such a fool
Her baby is only starting school
To other people standing near
It's obvious it's their first time here
