First Time

Out on the streets at night
As you walk i see you
Happier than the light
Youre beautiful, it's true

How could someone not love
Those eyes so blue
Its magnificence youre made of
It's the world you break through

I see it from a distance
All that you are
Its like radiance
From a star

No one knows how special one can be
Until they finally can see
You and all your beauty
And it's definitely not just me

I'm sure there will be others
They'll say they were first
I can't think of you being another's
It's an unquenchable thirst

Ive found im scared to know
You saw me too
But my heart beats slow
The first time i see you

the best thing of writing love poems is the first couple times one writes one on their journey to discover what love is, how they love, and how they want to be loved, dont seem like their best works, but are the foundation for some marvellous gems to come
