First Step
(KTHS Quartet)

It’s the first step towards getting somewhere
One bold stroke can change the day
Practice and just do it

You are on your way
make each day your masterpiece
use the gifts they bring
unlock your heartfelt desire
by doing what you enjoy

with friends and courage 
heaven unlocks the doorway
blessings from above

always remember
the hearts peace comes from knowing
believe in yourself

Verse 2 Tanka, 5 lines 5/7/5/7/7 syllables

Verse 3, Senryu, 3 lines, 5/7/5 syllables
