First Rose

You called my name, blossomed pink through a screen Red face, heart race, bewitched I fell sick in bed A rusting rose emerged from my slivered soul Before I slept, I remembered the first time I wished we met The laugh, that made my days glitch I'm here again, wondering what happened there There were times, I yearned to see you again.
