First Love

I'm thinking of someone
Can you guess who?
I know you know
He makes me so happy
Makes me sappy
Makes my knees knock
My heart pound
And my stomach do flips
The world could be falling
Down around my ears
And as long as I can be
Safe in his arms
I'll go with a smile on my face
It boggles my mind
How your average
Boy next door
Could break down walls
That held strong for five years
In one hour
Do you understand it?
Cause God knows I don't
You know the most amazing thing?
He doesn't even have to try
