First Kiss
Butterflies, they whirled, my
heart skipped a beat
A cliche, maybe so, I was
swept me off my feet
Like a gentle breeze swaying,
daydreams led the way
To a field filled with daisies,
upon which I lay
His fingers of one hand
threaded my hair
The other cupped my chin,
hypnotized we both stared
A slight tremble through me, I
knew it was right
Eyelids, much too heavy, they
closed off my sight
So subtle, the feeling, his lips,
they brushed mine
Overcome, I am drunk, on
loves bittersweet wine
How to describe it, perpetual
bliss
The beautiful moments of my
very first kiss!
