First Kiss
FIRST KISS
She shared with me my first romantic kiss
On her front porch that starry, starry night.
And I skipped lightly on my homeward way.
I’d not forget that moment of sheer bliss.
When our lips touched, my beating heart took flight
Hooray!
So would that magic moment be the start
Of life together, faithful come what may?
Alas, in teasing boys she took delight.
I still recall my youthful broken heart
