First Fall Snow

FIRST FALL SNOW

Frigid winds
Indent the once silken
Radiance of a bygone,
Sun struck summer
Terrain . It’s
Fall, and
All that
Lingers is
Lightly coated with
Snow, a
Now troubling harbinger
Of surely approaching
Winter

Hi Daver - Little bit of snow on a sunny day - beautiful. Lot of snow on a windy day - trouble. What a double-edged sword. I already miss summer, too. Thanks for your comment about my poem. - Gail

I love winter, when I'm all snuggled up by a beautiful open fire, so winter can be magical, depends how you look at it, love elizabeth
