First Day Jitters

Your impatience fuels my nervousness
when you breathe down my neck
The confidence I thought I had
  is keeping me in check.
  Adrenaline starts seepin' in
  and trips the 'fight-or-flight'
  My heart beats so
  it looks as though
  I won't sleep well tonight.
The training team you put me with
  thinks I'm an idiot!
  I can't grasp what they're talkin' about
  I'm just not 'gettin' it
I hope tomorrow will be good
  'least better than today
This first day on the job was tough
  I don't know if I'll stay!

This is a great little relatable poem Gayle; I remember first day on the job being like that for me too and that was 10 years ago! Enjoyed!~Che :)

First days can be nerve wracking. If this is autobiographical, I hope things got better.

Thank you for reading Agnes. Yeah, I think pieces of this were actually from my first day, but by the second or third day I'd forgotten about it!
