First Contact With Extraterrestrials
First Contact With Extraterrestrials
By Elton Camp
From deep in space the voice was detected
“Prepare, as our arrival on earth is expected.”
First contact with an advanced alien race
An astonishing event mankind must face
Voice continued, “Your history will change.
For whatever we desire, we will arrange.”
“Respect us and bow to our superior power
In fear & trembling we expect you to cower.”
The huge craft’s coming was quite a sight
With a humming sound & flashing light
At the appointed place, the spaceship landed
Throngs were gathered to do as commanded
Four aliens majestically emerged from the ship
But the group’s leader stumbled and took a slip
The others looked aghast from the craft’s door
With derisive laughter the crowd began to roar
The first impression didn’t go according to plan
And they failed to get the upper hand on man
