First Christmas
It was the first Christmas without you..
Your presence I dearly miss..
Though not mentioned you were on my mind..
Nanna did you hear my Christmas wish?
I wished that you were with us..
I wished not to see Mum cry..
I wished you stayed a bit longer..
I wished that you didn't die.
I hope you were there in spirit..
If only you could give me a sign..
Just to let me know your okay..
To give me comfort and peace of mind.
Maybe I'm being a little selfish..
You were ready to go in July..
It's hard letting go knowing it's forever..
It's never easy saying goodbye.
Your always in my thoughts Nan..
Though your gone, we are never apart..
You will always live inside me..
You will never leave my heart.
