Firework

At midnight I lost my home
The firecracker did no good
From my sound sleep I awoke
To see fire in the wood

The firecracker did no good
My nest and eggs I have lost
To see fire in the wood
All I have left is a scar

My nest and eggs I have lost
From my sound sleep I awoke
All I have left is a scar
At midnight I lost my home
