Fireflies Tonight
There are days when I feel like I want to cry,
But tonight, I'm under this beautiful sky.
I watch the stars,
underneath the universe bars.
And as I walk,
I saw these lights.
to my surprise, they're beautiful fireflies,
close to my feet & under the velvet skies.
too beautiful to catch,
so I just stopped & watched.
amazing & beautiful creatures,
of this world's hidden features.
oh how it makes me happy,
when I walked home safely.
I'd like to come back to get a glimpse again,
maybe tomorrow, I just don't know when.
