Fire N Brimstone
I feel my blood run cold, like
ice water is being pumped
through my veins.
Ice chip tears start to form and
console my now frozen heart
Blood turns black from fire n
brimstone
A raven shrieks announcing his
arrival, he comes on swift
wings
And takes everything from me
Tears of ash shine like
diamonds
Under the blanket of souls
shining alongside the moon
The north star sits stationary
beckoning lost travelers
They embrace the shrouds of
darkness and aimlessly
surrender
Forever lost in the night as the
air turns crisp and chilled
The ice cold wind nips at their
heel like ravenous wolves do to
lambs
Everything blurs together
looking the same, it's to late to
turn back now
The moon calls out singing to
your fear, it's ominous glow
caressing your sense of hope
Circle after circle you can't
stand your ground, you've lost
yourself
Turned round and round
The sky collapses caving in, a
story board since time began
A snow flake falls marking your
skin no sound at all just
breathe again
Inhale exhale your freezing
slow until you feel that crushing
blow.
Those pins and needles of fire n
brimstone.
