Fire, Lightning and Love

Fire, Lightning and Love Man of fire and lightning What he touches, burns, sulfur Righteous hard words twisted from his mouth He smelts chains of steel to shackle and bind my soul It is his desire to own me, master of my world Two women, beauty diverse, lovely, both to be bound by chain, owned Like wives, slaves, from centuries past, his women One submits to him, her tears, she cries unheard The other wild and untamed, breaks free My soul, he will not enslave Anger, I throw down the chains that bind The possession of my heart, my soul A gallant man, with his heart, his soul, I share Dark nights I rest, dreaming Sunlight I rise, searching I am lured to him, a man, strength, his wisdom, his heart beats free Not chains of steel which bind, But rings of gold entwined into our hearts, forever is eternity My burning heart, he gently takes, it is love I am home
