Fire and Wind

Fire & Wind

the rain came down falling on my head
pitter patter of noise swirling around,
We welcome the day we humble abode
 Fire & Wind

 No need to pretend
 Illumination
 hands, feet & teeth
once this life is through no chance to repeat

 Sullen brevity
A light to a hurting world in search of love
Come a bit closer to hear
I shed a single tear to help numb the inner pain

Not having you in my arms is driving me insane
 Fire & Wind
why does one equate logic for fear
there is a strong cleansing from within

 Solace
A brief excursion through the duration of time
love should be the real essence of one's existence
the need for freedom of expression

 Hence the open door
 a willingness to explore
 Fire & Wind
lest of course I shall refrain ?
