Fire and Ice

With the falling of the snow outside
Our family gathers in the fire place inside
The biting cold brings moments of unity
As stories makes most of our night.
The sip of the hot coffee brings the warmth
That keeps our blood warm,
And our bodies embedded on its warmth,
To keep us from the freezing cold
